Starboard Trust is a Portuguese family Trust dedicated to the effective stewardship of resources entrusted under the management of family member Fabio Catao.

The Trust is looking to deploy multibillion dollar investments in early 2025 in the following:

At Starboard Trust, we are collaborating with prominent Israeli private equity firms, leading European investment funds, and major Swiss banks in our investment initiatives.

Motivated by Fabio Catao’s deep love for animals, the Trust will make a significant investment to launch a philanthropic project in early 2025. With guidance from select Canadian and U.S. universities, the initiative will focus on rescuing and sheltering animals harmed or displaced by natural disasters caused by global warming.

The Trust is also committed to discovering new treatments to halt, slow, and prevent neurodegenerative diseases by funding scientific research in Alzheimer's, Parkinson's, and Lewy body dementia.
